• benzene, vinylchloride
• fluorides (F-), cyanides (CN-)
• dioxins and furans (PCDD/PCDF), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs)

Gaseous inorganic pollutants

• Fluorine and its gaseous compounds expressed as HF
• chlorine (Cl2)
• hydrogen cyanide (HCN)
• hydrogen sulphide (H2S)
• ammonia (NH3)
• inorganic gaseous compounds of Cl expressed as HCl
